Over six biweekly sessions in your home, we work on managing reactivity — lunging or barking at people or other dogs, fear- or anxiety-driven behavior — using counterconditioning and desensitization built around your dog's specific triggers. Working on your real walks, in your real doorway, is exactly where this pays off.

Trainer tip: reactivity work is about changing how your dog feels about a trigger, not just suppressing the reaction to it. If a trainer promises to eliminate the behavior without addressing the emotion behind it, that improvement usually doesn't hold.
